– Cesc Fabregas has played under different world-class managers

– The Spaniard says former Arsenal boss is the best to handle a young player due to his patience

– The 33-year-old added that Guardiola is the most tactical of the three despite spending less time playing for him

Spain midfielder Cesc Fabregas has named countryman Pep Guardiola as the most tactical manager compared to Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho.

The 33-year-old who kicked off his senior career at Arsenal also spent some time in Barcelona and Chelsea before eventually moving to Monaco.

However, while recounting his experience and how the coaches had impacted his career, Fabregas said Wenger is the best manager for a youngster.

His fatherly advice and understanding of the game will help shape the mentality of such a young star until he attains the summit of his career.

He added that the Frenchman gives youngsters enough opportunity to boost their confidence while under him.

He told Rio Ferdinand on the FIVE YouTube channel: “Arsene Wenger is the best coach for young players, I cannot see anyone better than him because he gives opportunities. He teaches the young players how to behave and how to play the game.

He has a certain ability of how to spend time with players and teach them exactly the way he wants his team to play.

Fabregas barely spent two seasons under Guardiola but rates the Spaniard as the most tactically aware among the three managers.

He said: “Pep is probably the most tactical manager out of the three. He loves the structure, even though he’s not telling you all the time to ‘be here’.”

The 33-year-old said about Mourinho: “Jose tactically has one system, but he works on that system very well. He’s got the specific players for that system.

When I met him first, he told me ‘I need two players, I’m going to sign Diego Costa and if you want to come to me, he drew me the team, and said this team is winning the title’.

After that, working with him, he’s probably the coach that played with my mind better. He’s a great coach for great players because he plays with the mind. He stimulates you.”

Legit.ng earlier reported that former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has recalled how he made a bad tackle on Nigerian legend Kanu Nwankwo when he newly joined Arsenal.

The Spaniard said he was trying to impress the stars he met at the north London side but his action got the ex-Super Eagles forward furious.

Fabregas joined the Gunners at the age of 16 in 2003 and he became one of their best players during his reign at the club.

The 33-year-old recounted this experience during an Instagram live broadcast with former Thierry Henry, saying he was trying to make an impression with the manager present.

“My first training when I joined Arsenal, I was all in my head trying to impress and I made a tackle on Kanu and he was so upset with me.

“When you’re young, sometimes you don’t think; you just want to go there and prove yourself without realising that you’re playing alongside World Cup winners,” Fabregas said.

Kanu and Fabregas shared the dressing for just one season before the former Ajax man joined Portsmouth in 2004.
