Vanessa Hudgens Celebrates Ashley Tisdale’s Pregnancy
Ashley Tisdale recently went on a relaxing babymoon as she prepares to welcome her first child with husband Christopher French.
The 35-year-old High School Musical alum posted a photo of herself cradling her baby bump while standing on a hill overlooking the ocean on her Instagram page on Friday. She said she was on a babymoon in Big Sur, a state park located on the central coast of California.
“Baby moon in Big Sur [sic]. Its crazy the last time here we were trying to heal from losing Maui, a huge life change,” wrote Tisdale, referring to her longtime pet dog, a Maltipoo, who died in June.
“Now a little more than a year later we are celebrating this bundle of joy, another life change,” Tisdale continued. I guess my point is life is always changing and as scary as the world seems right now, it will too change and get better. We just have to be patient and know we will be able to socialize with friends and loved one’s again. Thank you Big Sur for always being my safe place to heal and get perspective,” Tisdale continued. “I would say the secret lies in the ocean but I think it’s also the trees.”
French posted on his Instagram Story a photo of Tisdale hugging one of the many huge redwood trees located in the area. On Sunday, Nov. 22, both he and Tisdale posted images of Ziggy, the puppy he and his wife brought home weeks after Maui died, relaxing indoors.

On Friday, Tisdale teased her pre-baby vacay without referring to it as a babymoon, sharing a video of the view in Big Sur on Instagram.
“Good morning,” she wrote. “I hope this brings you a sense of calm.”
The actress and her husband announced her pregnancy in September, posting Instagram photos of her showing off her baby bump, and revealed in October that they are expecting a girl. The two have been married for six years.

“[After] I got engaged EVERYONE (and I mean everyone!) asked when I was getting married,” Tisdale wrote on her blog Frenshe. “Then, once I was married, everyone was asking when I was having kids. To be honest, it just felt invasive. I wasn’t ready for that step yet and I wanted to be selfish and have Chris all to myself for a while.”
“After six years of marriage, we built a strong foundation, and the timing just felt right,” she continued. “I gave it to God and the universe and honestly didn’t feel stressed about it and then it happened very quickly.”
