ALLENTOWN, Pa. — There’s another warning about measles in Pennsylvania.
If you’ve traveled to the Allentown area lately, health officials say beware.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health says it happened this month. From October 7 through October 12 someone with a case of the measles was in several medical and office buildings in Allentown.
That means others may have been exposed to the contagious disease.
Exposure locations include Lehigh Valley Hospital’s emergency department. Officials will notify anyone in the locations at the time.

The first case of measles in Pennsylvania was reported back on April 29.
There have been 16 confirmed cases in the Keystone State this year.
Cases on the rise across the nation in recent years. Across the country, more than 1,200 cases have been reported in 31 states.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, that is the highest number of confirmed cases in the U.S. since 1992.
Health officials believed the disease had been eradicated by 2000 but has come back because of international travel and people who are not vaccinating against it.
A few days ago, Pennsylvanians also warned people who visited the Philadelphia International Airport that they may have been exposed to measles, too.
Symptoms include high fever, cough, runny nose, and red eyes.
If you think you may have been exposed, health officials say call your doctor right away.
