The senator representing Kogi West at the National Assembly, Senator Smart Adeyemi has called on his colleagues to shut down the National Assembly if they cannot solve the country’s problems.
The Senator made this known while speaking at plenary in a video sighter by Legit.ng and published by Punch Newspaper.
He said:
Let us shutdown the national assembly if we cannot safe this country. Our country is bleeding. People are in poverty. People are hungry. We cannot pretend.Every day, people are dying. We must rise to the occasion.
