Osun 2022: Adeleke’s mandate will be restored, says group

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) New Generation group has promised to ensure that the party’s governorship candidate in the July 16, 2022 election in Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke’s mandate is restored through the ballot.

The Chairman, Youth and Women Gubernatorial Campaign Council (YWGCC) for Osun State under the PDP new generation group, Dare Akinniyi, stated that the mandate belongs to the people and the party will ensure it is given back to them.

Akinniyi who hinted that the group has been involved in grassroots campaign push, through smart neighborhood electioneering activities, added that the effort would ensure hundreds of thousands votes for the party’s candidate, Adeleke and his running mate, Prince Kola Adewusi.

He said: “Young people make up a higher proportion of the entire voting population, and we will prove this. We have further activated our Local Government structures in all the 30 local councils of the state.

“We will work to ensure victory and a good life for the people of the state. It is the time to return the stolen mandate back to

the rightful owner, Sen. Ademola Adeleke.

“The PDP New Generation will continue to push to achieve its goal of promoting Youth and Women participation and inclusion in PDP affairs at all levels.

“We are saddled with the responsibilities of working extensively in collaboration with the existing PDP New Generation structure in Osun state to ensure the victory of Senator Adeleke, Adewusi, his running mate and the PDP at large.”
