The royal family of Ife have been thrown into massive celebration following the arrival of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II’s son with Olori Silekunola.
In a recent video shared by his eldest sister, Princess Adesola Ogunwusi, the king is seen raising a song while the siblings sang it with him.
Ooni of Ife recently welcomed a son.

They can be heard singing a Yoruba song which loosely translates to ‘friends and family stand up, dance and rejoice with me. God has lifted me high’.

In another video shared, the king is seen singing with youths who came to the palace to felicitate with him over the arrival of the prince.
The caption reads:
“The King of the Youth Arole Oodua @ooniadimulaife felicitating and rejoicing with the Youths right at His Palace Enuwa Ile-Ife.”

Recall that the Ife monarch shared the good news on his official Instagram page on Wednesday, November 18, the same morning his wife put to birth. According to the Oba, his queen and his baby boy are doing well. He wrote:
“To God be the glory great things he has done. Hearty congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and Olori Silekunola who today birthed a Prince to the Royal throne of Oduduwa. Mother and child are doing well to the glory of God Almighty.”

However, amid the excitement of the prince’s arrival, palace sources have now revealed that the monarch will not be allowed to set eyes on his son any time soon, Kemi Ashefon reports.
In addition, the sources disclosed that some rites would be performed before the heir to the throne is brought to the palace, and his arrival would be widely celebrated.
