West African pharmaceutical chain HealthPlus Limited (HealthPlus) has insisted that Chidi Okoro is its Chief Transformation Officer (CTO).
In a statement yesterday, its two directors Afsane Jetha and Zachary Fond, said the board at its meeting last Friday, resolved to redeploy the founder and Chief Executive Officer Mrs Bukky George to the Board. It said while Mrs George would remain a director of the company, Okoro would oversee its operations as its interim head.
Okoro is a pharmacist with over 30 years’ experience, spanning leadership roles in pharmaceuticals, personal care, food, and telecoms.
“I am excited to have the opportunity and the resources to take the platform to the next level, at a time of unrivalled opportunity for the sector. I look forward to working with all stakeholders to achieve even greater things in the future,” Okoro said.
‘’The majority of the Board, therefore, urges the media and the public to disregard further communications from any individual or group that are contrary to the aforementioned,’’ the statement added.
