Due in large part to the school’s association with Michael Jordan, UNC’s signature colors have become one of the most universally loved across sneaker culture. And without skipping a beat, the brand is soon to proffer yet another sequel: this Fall-prepared Air Jordan 13.
Teased for the better part of the past year, the colorway is quite a bit distinct from its predecessors. Rather than push the Carolina Blue in force, its upper are kept subdued. A white shade dresses the side’s dimpled leathers, while “Obsidian” contrasts from the heel through to the toe and tongue. Only the Jumpman logo hit atop the latter and the outsole make use of the aforementioned, stealing spotlight from the OG packaging and materials.
