The Department of Health has confirmed a food handler working at the ShopRite in Somerville has hepatitis A. Officials are recommending customers throw out any items purchased from the in-store deli at 1 S. Davenport St. from Oct. 13 to Oct. 30. The department also says anyone who may have eaten items purchased at the deli, or used the restrooms at the store during the same time period, should get vaccinated against hepatitis A as soon as possible. Hepatitis A vaccine may be obtained from the ShopRite pharmacy or your health care provider. For more information, click here.
