Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa is certainly one lady too vibrant and vivacious to ever give up on life and it shows. She recently took to social media to speak about the possibility of giving love another try.

In her Insta Story post, the controversial personality and fashionista, revealed that she is still a hopeless romantic despite all life has thrown at her and stated she couldn’t wait to fall in love again.

In her words: “No matter what life has thrown at me, I’m still a “hopeless romantic.” I cannot wait to fall hopelessly and madly in love. I love love. Hopefully, it loves me back. Someday.”

Makinwas had gotten married to popular life coach, Maje Ayide in 2014. However, the marriage crashed 3 years later as the media personality filed for divorce in 2016.

She had on March 9, 2016, asked the court to dissolve the marriage on the grounds that the husband committed adultery.

Justice Morenike Obadina, while delivering judgment, held that Ayida filed an answer to the petition but did not give oral evidence in support of it.

Only a while ago, she took to Twitter to speak on a controversial topic, paying of first fruit.

According to the TV girl, she always pays her first fruit from any business venture she goes into. Toke said she pays her first fruit, not because God needs it but because it is a partnership with Him.

Meanwhile, popular Nigerian police officer, Abayomi Shogulne, recently took to his page on micro-blogging platform, Twitter, with a narration of what happened between an intending couple. The police officer in his posts disclosed that the couple had slated their wedding for the second week of the coronovarius lockdown.

Due to the laws against social gathering, the groom’s family also suggested that things should be kept on a low with just 10 family members in attendance. Read more.
