Following N’Golo Kante’s breathtaking performance in the second leg Champions League semifinal that saw Chelsea defeat Real Madrid 2-0, Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala has warned opponents not to steal the Frenchman’s ‘meat’.
Paired in the midfield alongside Jorginho in the 3-4-3 formation against Los Blancos, Kante put in a monstrous show in both halves of the highly tensed encounter.
The Blues saw off Real Madrid in a crunch fixture in the semi-finals to book a slot in the last round of the European competition for the first time since 2012 when they also won the title.
Thomas Tuchel-tutored side secured a 3-1 goal aggregate against the La Liga giants to progress, with Timo Werner and Mason Mount scoring the all-important goal during the second leg of the tie played on the night of Wednesday, May 5, at Stamford Bridge.
But Kante needed to be credited as he proved decisive in the knife-edged encounter.
He won possession in Real Madrid’s final third and then sent a pass to Christian Pulisic on the wide who then laid the pass to Mason Mount for Chelsea’s second in the 85th minute.

After the game, the internet space was agog with fans praising the former Leicester City man who was visibly crucial to Chelsea’s victory.
In a tweet, Nigerian striker Asisat Oshoala warned that no one dare take Kante’s meat. The Barcelona Femeni star added that the Frenchman will chase such individual for good. She wrote in Pidgin English”
“Omo if u carry this guy meat on top him food, if him poshu you ehn.”
In the Nigerian context, the statement means Kante will chase anyone who dares to take his meat without his consent.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Labour Party Member of Parliament, Clive Efford, is calling on the government to deny travel access to football fans hoping to flood Turkey for the Champions League final billed for May 29.
Manchester City have already booked their spot and are awaiting the winner between Chelsea and Real Madrid in the second leg.
Sources reveal that UEFA is planning to hand the finalists 8,000 tickets while the hosts are preparing for not less than 25,000 supporters at the stadium – that is one-third of the venue capacity.
