A lady has recounted her shocking experience with an online vendor recently.
The Nigerian woman, who doesn’t want her name in prints, told Legit.ng that she had transferred N37,000 to an online vendor instead of the N3,700 agreed price for a product.

To her surprise, the vendor – who she hadn’t met in her life – rang her to intimate her of the wrong transaction and promised to do a refund. Minutes, later she was refunded, as seen in the transaction screenshot she shared.
The surprised buyer thought the country will be better if leaders can be as honest as the vendor.
Her statement to Legit.ng reads in full:
“I ordered for a product online yesterday, May 4, 2021. The product supposed to be purchased at the rate of N3,700 as agreed.
“While receiving the package through the dispatch rider today, I mistakenly transferred N37,000 to the seller who I don’t know from Adam.
“Not long after, the seller called me back to inform me about the wrong transaction. I was really amazed to see someone as honest as her in such a time as this.
“She promised to refund the money. Few minutes later, I received her alert of N33,300 as promised.
“Truly, if our leaders can emulate this great attribute demonstrated by this honest seller, Nigeria would have been better place for all.”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a woman landed in huge trouble after she bought a house and car with N456 million that was mistakenly sent to her account.
The incident was reported to have happened in February, and the lady was also said to have ignored calls, texts and emails from the bank.
The young lady has been taken to court by Charles Schwab and charged for refusing to return money to the company. They have also argued that she had from the onset signed a contract that said clients should return overpayment funds to the company.
