Niger Govt. commiserates with Emir of Kontagora over son’s death

Niger State Government has commiserated with the Sarkin Sudan of Kontagora, Alhaji Sa’idu Namaska over the death of his son, Alhaji Bashar Saidu Namaska.

In a condolence message signed by the Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG), Ahmed Ibrahim Matane, the Government described the deceased as an amiable and humble person.

It noted that the late Bashar Saidu Namaska was a man of peace whose demise leaves a huge vacuum not only in Kontagora Emirate, but the state as a whole.

Matane stated that he was deeply saddened to learn the death of Bashar Namaska, Sardaunan Kontagora and Head of Yamma adding that the deceased was an amiable and humble person.

He further described the death of former Director General, Niger State Public Procurement Board as painful but urged the Sarkin Sudan, Kontagora, Alhaji Saidu Namaska and the entire people of the Emirate to consider the death of Sardaunan Kontagora as an acts of God.

“On behalf of the Government and people of Niger State, I want to convey my sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased and also commiserated with Sarkin Sudan, Kontagora, Alhaji Sa’idu Namaska and the entire people of Kontagora Emirate over the demised of Alhaji Bashar Saidu Namaska, Sardaunan Kontagora.”

He the prayed that the Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest, reward him with Jannatul Firdausi and grant the entire family the courage to bear the irreparable loss.

Alh. Bashar Namaska who was a former Director General, Niger State Public Procurement Board died in his father’s farm at Masuga village near Kontagora as a result of bandit attack.
