Premier League side Arsenal on Thursday night, October 29, continued with their impressive performance this season in the Europa League beating Dundalk 3-0 at the Emirates stadium.

The Gunners went into this encounter having lost against Leicester City in their last Premier League tie and they knew a win will make their fans happy.

Arsenal gaffer Mikel Arteta made some changes in the starting lineup with goalkeeper Runar Alex Runarsson in goal for the Gunners and he did not disappoint.

The Gunners got the first chance to score in the fifth minute when Mohamed Elneny located Reiss Nelson with a superb pass, but he was unable to score.

Six minutes later, the visitors had their chance to score through Michael Duffy who failed to register a goal against the Gunners.

Arsenal scored their first goal in the 42nd minute through Edward Nketiah before Joseph Willock doubled the lead for the Gunner two minutes later.

On resumption for the second half, Nicolas Pepe scored the third goal as Arsenal went on to win the encounter 3-0.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Shkodran Mustafi who plays as a defender for Premier League side Arsenal and the German national team has reportedly told the Gunners’ chiefs that he wants to leave next summer.

Since joining the Gunners from Valencia in 2016, the 28-year-old has been impressive for the Premier League giants making 99 appearances so far.

Arsenal chiefs have been trying to convince him to sign a new deal, but no announcement has been made so far on the development.

According to the report on UK Sun citing Football London, Shkodran Mustafi is not interested in signing a new deal with the Gunners, but to try his luck elsewhere.

His current contract with Arsenal will come to an end at the end of the ongoing season and the Gunners may be losing him on a free transfer next summer.

Last season in the Premier League, injury made Mustafi to miss some weeks for Arsenal before making a return to the squad this term.
