NASA International Space Station (ISS) astronaut Christina Koch made history last week after completing the first all-female spacewalk with Jessica Meir. Now NASA has released an incredible time-lapse taken during the event.PUBLISHED: 14:09, Fri, Oct 25, 2019 | UPDATED: 14:24, Fri, Oct 25, 2019 NASA astronauts Christina Koch and Jessica Meir ventured outside the International Space Station on Sunday, October 18, to embark on the first-ever spacewalk to be conducted entirely by women. The best friends made history as they worked outside the orbiting space laboratory to repair a solar array. Now, an awe-inspiring time-lapse shot by Ms Koch during the spacewalk has been released, described as “one of the coolest photos that you ever will see”.The time-lapse image, a composite of 400 photos, reveals the glory of Earth when viewed from space.
