She added that though the job is a tough one, it is better than stealing in a situation where the government does not support and give gainful employment opportunities.

The hardworking woman said that despite how hard the work is, she has to keep doing it as a way to take care of herself, children, and younger ones.

When asked how much she gets, Stella responded that all she gets is money to feed. The woman has been in the profession for 15 years.

She said that her husband also joins in on the farm work as he also does not have a good job that can take of the family.

It should, however, be noted that the woman does not only work on cocoa farms alone. When asked if she could make N100,000 in a month, she said yes.

Stella added that with the recent inflation in the country, a bulk of that earning will go into the chemicals that are needed for harvest and farming produce processing.

As she spoke, the hardworking mother kept plucking cocoa seeds as a way to save time and get down with her work on time.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that the story of Emmanuel Nworie breaks hearts as he had to turn to petty farming as a way to eke out a living despite graduating with a first class in mathematics.

It would have been better if he was into mechanized farming. He graduated with a CGPA of 4.92/5.00 from the University of Nigerian, Nsukka.

The 27-year-old brilliant graduate lost his dad to diabetes and hypertension when he was still in secondary school, a situation that made life very difficult for him.

As a way to survive, he became a mathematics teacher for a while at the secondary school he finished from.
