Luc Basque told CBC News that someone called the airport to make the threat, and airport officials subsequently called the police and evacuated the airport.According to Basque, no bomb, suspicious package or object was found; RCMP traced the call and determined it was a real call but a fake threat, Basque added. Airport spokesperson Julie Pondant told CBC News that evacuations began shortly before 7:00 pm AT, with RCMP officers arriving shortly after.
