Popular comedian, AY Makun, then used the opportunity to tell people that he was at the Lekki Tollgate just before the shootout happened.

The comedian who shared a video of himself talking to the peaceful protesters at the tollgate continued that Noble was at home tweeting while things went down.

AY said that it was not the time to discuss the baseless tweet and that he would later school him as a friend on the principles of buying and selling.

Nigerians on social media waded into the issue as they took sides with the two celebrities. A number of people seemed to agree with Noble.

Tunnyogunnowo:

Mr Noble, it’s tweeted not twitted sha. I think I stand with AY. Should he reject them when they buy tables for his show? It’s not like he is collecting bribe or something. As far as he can still stand against the politicians when necessary, it’s fine.

Interesting.
