Kazuyoshi Miura set a new record in football after becoming the oldest football player to feature in a professional football match.
The 53-year-old started his professional career in 1982 and is still waxing strong in his 35th professional season.
The striker signed a new deal with Yokohama in January to further prolong his unbelievable career.

The veteran Japanese striker made an appearance in a Cup game against Fernando Torres’ former team Sagan Tosu.
He played a little bit over an hour before he was substituted with game still at a 0-0 draw.
But Yokohama won the game right at the death with a 91st-minute winner by Yuji Senuma to earn their group stage victory.
Muira started his career at Club Atletico Juventus in Brazil in 1982 then joined Santos in 1986.
He has had 89 caps for the Japanese national team, scoring 55 times and last featured for his country 20 years ago.
“King Kazu” also had six caps for his nation’s futsal team in 2012 and has now been at Yokohama for 15 years.
Miura has scored 221 times in 754 club games and his best season was when he scored 30 times in just 39 games for Verdy Kawasaki in 1996.
He still holds the records for being the oldest player and oldest goalscorer in worldwide professional leagues.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that top Japanese side Yokohama FC has confirmed that 52-year-old Kazuyoshi Miura has received a new contract with the J1-League side.
The striker will now be playing in his 35th season as a professional player and remains the only player still in active football since the J-League was created in 1993.
“In the 2020 season, I was able to renew the contract with Yokohama FC,” he said.
“Team J1 Make daily efforts for the goal of retention but, I do not forget the feelings of gratitude and feelings to enjoy the football, I will do my best to be able to contribute to the team win.”
