Inter director Beppe Marotta assures they are “in sync” with Antonio Conte. “He’ll soon have the real complete squad to work the way he wants to.”
Marotta, President Steven Zhang, director of sport Piero Ausilio, corporate general manager Alessandro Antonello and Gabriele Oriali all met with the Coach in China today to discuss the transfer strategy.
“It was a positive meeting, in which it emerged once again that the club and Coach are in sync,” Marotta told news agency ANSA.
“He will soon have the real complete squad to work on the details the way he wants to and can do.”
Conte complained repeatedly in Press conferences this week at the lack of activity, both in bringing in targets like Romelu Lukaku and Edin Dzeko, and in removing unwanted figures such as Mauro Icardi, Radja Nainggolan and now also Ivan Perisic.
