It’s safe to say that Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan have done alright for themselves. The Our Girl star and former TOWIE cast member have been married since 2015, and have enjoyed quite the life together.
Back in 2019, the couple purchased a £3.5 million pad in Essex. Since then, they’ve been working hard to transform it into their “dream home”, and have been keeping fans updated via their Instagram account, @wrightyhome.
But amongst the renovations and holidaying (which by the looks of their IG grids, there has been a lot of), what else have the power couple been up to over the last year? Here’s a review of their 2022…

Auntie and Uncle duties Back in February, Mark took to his Instagram account to celebrate the birth of his new nephew. His brother, Josh, who is a professional footballer for Ebbsfleet United, welcomed a baby boy, Joshua James Angelo Wright with his wife Hollie Kane.
Taking to Instagram to share the news, he wrote: “Welcome to the world little man…. Auntie, Uncle and everybody loves you so much.
“My nephew…. Just stick with me son and everything will be alright.
“So proud of the way you have both handled this early surprise @joshwright4444 @holliekanewright love you both so much.”
And it looks like even more baby joy for 2023 as Josh and Hollie have revealed a very exciting bit of news this Christmas, as the happy couple revealed that they are expecting their second child together..

Seventh wedding anniversary On May 24th, Mark and Michelle celebrated seven years of marriage, and both headed to social media to celebrate.
“7 years of being your husband. It never gets old,” Mark wrote. “Happy anniversary love you.”
Michelle also acknowledged the occasion, sharing a carousel of wedding snaps, including a gorgeous black and white shot of the then bride to be getting ready.

She captioned the post: “24.5.2015. Happy Anniversary to my husband, my best friend & biggest supporter. Love you.”
Mark’s sister and fellow former TOWIE star, Jess Wright commented on the post, along with a string of other celebrities, including Corrie star Brooke Vincent and Hollyoaks actor Chelsee Healey.
“Elvis & Priscilla,” Jess wrote, alluding to Michelle’s beehived hair and Mark’s slicked back do.

A glitzy red carpet May was a busy month for the couple, as it also saw them attending the BAFTAS together in a rare red carpet appearance.
Michelle stunned in a shiny salmon pink one-shoulder gown, with her long hair down in loose waves and natural makeup.
Mark also scrubbed up well, as he took to the carpet wearing a simple black tux, posing for photos with his hands around his wife’s waist.
This was one of the first public appearances the couple had made in years, as they’ve been investing most of their time renovating their Essex mansion.

Mansion renovations September was almost three years since the couple had purchased their million pound pad, and they have been sharing their journey with 489K followers on Instagram since 2021.
But after working on it for so long, they revealed that they’d nearly reached completion, complete with a custom spa, fully equipped gym and five acres of land.
With all the work they put in, including taking inspiration from the iconic Hollywood homes and adding a more historic Georgian inspired exterior, the couple are thought to have more than doubled the value of the property, with it now being worth around £3.5 million.

London Marathon Mark took a break from property development and took part in the London marathon.
After completing the entire route, Mart took to Instagram to share his experience.
“Wow what a day. Let me tell you, the best experience of my life,” he said.
“An absolute rollercoaster, the ups and the downs make it so worthwhile. I feel so proud, emotional and overwhelmed.
“The biggest thing I take from today, is the 42,000 people taking part, the 40,000 people that came to support and of course my army of 40 family members and friends on the streets of London, the best city on earth, I saw nothing but smiles, support and love for 3hr and 41 minutes.
“With all that is going on in the world, it made me realise…. Humanity is still alive and so beautiful. I love you London. Thank you for the memories, ones I’ll never forget.”

Christmas at the Wrights The couple shared an incredible shot of the exterior of their home on their Instagram page.
After a heavy snowfall, their passion project was compared to Home Alone, and boasted a garland around the front door plus lots of twinkly lights around the edging of the property.
Mark and Michelle’s home looked like a real life winter wonderland
They also shared a sneak peak into their glamorous looking entrance complete with a massive Kardashian-style Christmas tree and another garland up the bannister.
“Christmas 2022 has begun in the Wright household,” they shared on social media.
