It was a heated sweaty-session as Liverpool players play against each other at Anfield on Monday afternoon ahead of the June 17 restart date of the Premier League.

However when they eventually win title, it will be a very strange one as fans won’t be allowed to be part of the celebrations but the Liverpool boss does not even care. All that matters is for the league to resume and they win it.

“We wanted to give the players the feeling of playing and competing without a crowd,” said Reds assistant boss Pep Lijnders to the club’s official website.

The Premier League table toppers Liverpool have been allowed to return to training ahead of a possible restart of the season which was suspended since mid-March, no thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has described Austin Okocha’s stunning goal against legendary Oliver Kahn in 1993 as ‘the most spectacular goal in the history of German football’.

The former Super Eagles captain was contracted to Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt for four seasons – 1992 to 1996.

Jay Jay Okocha was introduced in the second half of his side’s game against Karlsruher SC and the midfielder dribbled mesmerised the opponent’s defenders before humiliating the goalkeeper.

Not only was Okocha celebrated, but the goal also went ahead to win the goal of the season by many football magazines.

The goal also won the 1993 Goal of the Year by viewers of Sportschau (an ARD German TV sports programme).

Khan was quoted to have said in 2016 that he still feels dizzy as a result of the dazzling by the former Super Eagles creative midfielder.

While describing the goal scored by the Nigerian star, Klopp said it is why African players are always purchased by top European clubs.
