Bruno Fernandes who plays for Premier League side Manchester United has vowed to help Cristiano Ronaldo extend his incredible goal-scoring record with Portugal.

Recently, the Juventus superstar scored his 101 goals for Portugal against Sweden in Nations League match and received lots of praise from fans and pundits.

Interestingly, Cristiano Ronaldo also has the same records in club level having scored more than 100 goals for Manchester United, Real Madrid and now Juventus.

Fernandes explained that Cristiano Ronaldo’s scoring prowess is such that fans around the world think he’s had a bad game if he doesn’t find the net.

He added that even Ronaldo’s fellow teammates at the national team do wait and hope that the Juventus star score for them.

“101 for me, and I think for most of the people now, it’s normal.

“You see when someone watches the games, if he doesn’t score, for everyone, it is a bad game because, normally, he always scores.

“You wait for a goal from him or for him to do something different. Of course, I’m really happy to have a chance to play alongside him and I hope he can achieve the record he wants, for sure.

“Maybe I can help him to achieve that record with the national team,” Bruno explained according to report on UK Mirror.

And while the match was ongoing, an health official noticed that Cristiano Ronaldo was not using a face mask and she walked to meet him.

After a moment of hesitancy, the former Real Madrid and Manchester United star obliged by putting on the face mask provided.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammates were however brilliant in the encounter as they won 4-1 against Croatia in a nice game.
