Paul Pogba has not been starting for Man United line up in the last three matches as he is still recovering to full fitness, according to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Mirror.

The France international was in Solskjaer’s first XI in the defeat to Crystal Palace, the win over Brighton and the 6-1 thrashing from Tottenham.

However, the 27-year-old has come in as a second-half substitute in United’s last three matches at Newcastle, Paris Saint-Germain and recently Chelsea at Old Trafford.

Pogba’s fitness was hindered after contracting the deadly coronavirus in August but Solskjaer reveals the Red Devils midfielder is still getting better.

Solskjaer said:

“When you’ve got good players it’s a nice challenge and a decision to make when you’ve got good players on the bench that can come on and impact the game.

“I think Paul, all three games this week, he’s really come on and made a very positive impact.

“He’s been out for a while with coronavirus this summer, so he’s getting better and better and maybe more his shape.

“Maybe I was unfair to him starting him that early in the first few games but he’s coming on and he’s done great when he’s come on.”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Patrice Evra has compared Harry Maguire’s challenge on Cesar Azpilicueta during Old Trafford stalemate on Saturday, October 24, to that of WWE legend Hulk Hogan.

With both Chelsea and Man United level, Azpilicueta seemed to have earned the Blues a golden chance to take a lead from the spot as Maguire clamped him down in the area as he rose high to head Ben Chilwell’s free-kick.

However, VAR overlooked the incident allowing play to continue much to the chagrin of Blues faithful.

Legit.ng had earlier reported that Manchester United played out a goalless draw against Chelsea in a highly cautious Premier League encounter at Old Trafford on Saturday, October 24.

Both sides had several half chances to take the lead but in the end, they had to settle for a solitary point.

In a highly cagey affair, no shots on target were witnessed in the opening quarter of the game which proved to be a tactical battle between the two managers.
