Reports are growing rapidly that Inter are on the verge of a deal for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku.
The negotiations have been dragging on for months, with the Old Trafford side never budging from the €85m asking price.
According to Sky Sport Italia and UK, among others, agent Federico Pastorello has flown to London today to work out the details of a transfer.
Even Inter President Steven Zhang is reportedly in London to push through the final talks, according to The Mirror, but Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia assure he is still at the club headquarters in Milan and taking part in conference calls instead.
The latest bid according to Sportitalia seems to be €70m plus performance-related bonuses to reach €75m.
Juventus had agreed a swap with Paulo Dybala, but the Argentine turned down the destination, allowing Inter back into the running.
Lukaku was fined for not turning up to training, as he has been working with the Anderlecht squad in Belgium for the last two days.
The Premier League transfer deadline is tomorrow evening, so Manchester United are in a rush to get Lukaku sold and find a suitable replacement.
That could well be free agent Fernando Llorente or Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic, who is available for €15m.
