Romelu Lukaku has reportedly ‘begged’ Manchester United to lower his asking price so he can join Inter.
Juventus appeared to have leapfrogged Inter in the running for Lukaku, even offering Paulo Dybala in exchange.
However, The Sun maintains the Belgian is still targeting a move to Inter and has called on United to drop their £80m (€89m) valuation.
The 26-year-old was part of the Red Devils’ squad for their preseason tour of Australia and Asia but did not feature in any of their friendlies.
The newspaper concludes he has been given ‘four days’ to agree a deal with the Nerazzurri or Juve.
