Milan have been the form side of Serie A to start the campaign. Stefano Pioli’s men have beaten Bologna, Crotone and Spezia in their opening three matches without conceding a goal. The Rossoneri have hardly played the cream of the crop of Italian football, but they’ve met expectations with their 100% record. However, more will be required against their bitter rivals today.
Inter have been on form in the early stages of the campaign, taking a three-match unbeaten run in the contest. They defeated Fiorentina in dramatic fashion on the opening day before hammering Benevento. The Nerazzurri played out a 1-1 draw last time out against Lazio on the road in an ill-tempered affair. Antonio Conte will be searching for a controlled effort from his team today.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Serie A clash between Inter and Milan at San Siro.
