That’s all for today, goodbye!

Argentina remain unbeaten in their qualifiers and stay second behind Brazil, but Scaloni won’t be pleased after these two draws before their Copa America opener against Chile. As for Colombia, that point moves them above Paraguay into fifth for now. They face Ecuador in their opening Copa America game next time out.

Borja’s late header earns an important point for Colombia as they draw 2-2 with Argentina. The visitors led 2-0 after just eight minutes thanks to Romero’s header and Paredes’ cool finish, but Colombia came back in the second half. Muriel slotted in a penalty after Uribe was fouled before Ospina made crucial saves to deny Messi and Martinez. Four minutes into stoppage time at the end, Borja headed his effort down and Marchesin got a hand to it, but couldn’t stop it from crossing the line.

90′ + 6′ FULL-TIME: COLOMBIA 2-2 ARGENTINA.

Colombia

90′ + 4′ It’s a brilliant cross from Cuadrado, who had time to stop before picking out Borja at the far post.

Colombia

90′ + 4′ BORJA EQUALISES! Deep into stoppage time, Colombia have salvaged a point! Foyth just loses Borja at the far post when Cuadrado swings his cross in, but it’s poor from the goalkeeper. Borja heads it down into the ground and Marchesin gets a hand to it but lets it slip across the line. 2-2!

90′ + 3′ The Argentina bench are furious as they think they should have a free-kick when Martinez goes down. The referee waves play on before Cuadrado is dragged down by Acuna and Colombia get the foul.

Colombia

90′ + 1′ Borja sticks out a leg to block Marchesin’s kick after a drop ball. It’s the second time he’s done it since coming on and the referee shows him a yellow card.

90′ There are big shouts from the home fans and the Colombia players for another penalty after Borja went to ground in the box. There wasn’t much in it at all from Otamendi though and the referee tells the substitute to get back to his feet.

89′ Argentina are taking their time over every free-kick they win as the end of the game ticks closer. They’re doing everything they can to interrupt the rhythm and stop Colombia from pushing forward in search of a late equaliser.

87′ De Paul goes short from the free-kick this time, drilling the ball into Foyth on the edge of the area. He lets the ball roll across him before firing it towards goal, but it’s well blocked by Mina.

85′ GREAT SAVE! Palacios holds off Barrios to latch onto Martinez’s cross and he cushions it down for Messi. He hits the shot first time on the half-volley and Ospina gets down well to push it away before Sanchez blocks Palacios’ follow-up effort.

83′ Messi cuts inside from the left, dribbling past three Colombia defenders before touching it into Martinez. He can’t find space for a shot, so he picks out Palacios, but the hosts drop deep to block their way into the box.

81′ Martinez has gone down rather theatrically after Mina used his hand to hold off the forward. He’s holding his mouth and the medical team are on to give him some treatment. Neither team is happy though as Colombia think he overreacted and Argentina are asking for a second yellow card which doesn’t come.

Argentina

79′ Pezzella is tracking back to try and stop Cardona’s run, but can’t get close to him and is booked after catching him from behind with a late tackle.

77′ GREAT CHANCE! Sanchez is quickly in to nick the ball off Messi, but Martinez is there to intercept his cross-field pass. He drives forward into the box before firing a shot towards the near post, but a deflection off Mina takes it into the side netting.

Colombia

75′ Final change for Colombia now as Medina is taken off and replaced by Moreno.

73′ Colombia are keeping Argentina penned back deep in their own half at the moment as they patiently try to open up space in behind. Cardona works it out to Barrios on the left, but his low cross is blocked by Foyth.

71′ CHANCE! Muriel’s first run into the box is cut out by Otamendi, but he gets another chance moments later when Borja chests it down to him. He’s unmarked just inside the area, but he blazes his effort high over the bar.

69′ Argentina have started going long, with Marchesin trying to pick out Martinez’s run down the left this time. He initially does well to hold off Medina before being fouled by the right-back.

67′ Cardona swings another free-kick into the box from the right, but this one is cleared by Pezzella. It only goes as far as Muriel, who lifts it up for Sanchez, but his flick on is always going wide of the post.

65′ GOOD SAVE! None of the Colombia defenders close down Messi and he drifts to the edge of the box before threading it through for Martinez. He takes the shot first time, drilling it at the near post and Ospina gets down to smother it.

Argentina

65′ Gonzalez is also being taken off, with Foyth on for him.

Argentina

64′ Romero just went down and it looks like he’s got a muscle injury, so he goes off to be replaced by Pezzella.

Argentina

62′ It’s a clumsy one from Paredes as he runs into the back of Cardona and it earns him a booking.

60′ It looks like Montiel’s cross is dealt with by Cuadrado, but his block goes straight to De Paul on the edge of the box. He can’t sort his feet out quick enough to get a shot away, but picks out Martinez, only for his shot to be blocked by Sanchez.

58′ GREAT SAVE! It’s Messi that steps up to take the free-kick and he curls his effort over the end of the wall and back towards the near top corner. Ospina scrambles across his line and tips it over with a strong hand.

Colombia

57′ Tesillo steps across De Paul to cut off his run which earns him a booking, and Argentina have a free-kick just outside the box.

56′ Colombia have everyone sitting deep in their own half and they’re frustrating Argentina by closing down all the space ahead of them. Messi tries to thread it through for Martinez, but it’s cut out by Mina.

Argentina

54′ Argentina are making their first change of the game now and it’s Lo Celso making way for Palacios.

53′ Gonzalez is tripped by Uribe down the left and Messi steps up to take the free-kick. It’s not one of his best though and it’s headed away by the first man at the near post.

Colombia

51′ MURIEL SCORES! It’s a confident run-up from the substitute and there’s no hesitation as he drills the ball into the bottom-left corner, sending Marchesin the wrong way and Colombia are back in the game. 2-1!

Argentina

49′ Otamendi is also shown a yellow card for the elbow on Uribe.

49′ PENALTY TO COLOMBIA! The hosts have made a bright start to the second half and Barrios whips a great cross in from the left. Otamendi catches Uribe in the face with his elbow as he holds him off and the referee points straight to the spot.

Colombia

47′ Medina catches De Paul on the back of the head during an aerial challenge and is shown a yellow card.

46′ Colombia get us back underway for the second half!

Colombia

46′ And Diaz is the other player not coming back out, with Cardona on for him.

Colombia

46′ Zapata is also going off, with Borja on to replace him.

Colombia

46′ Colombia are making a triple change at the start of the second half. Cuellar is the first to make way, with Barrios on for him.

Argentina made a brilliant start, but they started to sit back as the half went on and Scaloni will want to see them try and put this game to bed. Colombia grew into the game after their poor start, but they haven’t created too many chances. Cuadrado has looked dangerous throughout though and they’ll want to try and get him on the ball more.

Two quickfire goals mean that Argentina take a 2-0 lead into half-time. Romero headed De Paul’s free-kick over Ospina just three minutes in before Paredes doubled their lead five minutes later with a great run through a crowded box before slotting it into the bottom corner. Lautaro Martinez and Messi have both seen efforts saved, while Muriel saw an effort blocked by Otamendi at the other end.

45′ + 10′ HALF-TIME: COLOMBIA 0-2 ARGENTINA.

Argentina

45′ + 9′ Romero can’t get close to Cuadrado and he drags him back by his shirt to stop the run, earning himself a yellow card.

45′ + 7′ CHANCE! Cuadrado is still causing Argentina a lot of problems as he pulls away down the right again before squaring it to Muriel on the edge of the box. He tees up Zapata, but he slices at his shot and it swerves up and over the crossbar.

45′ + 5′ BLOCK! Cuadrado breaks quickly on the counter and he tries to wrongfoot Romero on the edge of the box with a couple of stepovers. That doesn’t work so he pulls it back for Muriel, but his drilled effort is deflected wide by Otamendi.

Colombia

45′ + 3′ Zapata holds off Acuna using his elbow and receives a yellow card.

45′ + 2′ Into a second of eight added minutes here and Argentina are still pushing for their third goal. Paredes plays a great throughball into the box for Gonzalez down the right, but his first touch is heavy and he gifts it to Ospina.

45′ At the other end, Marchesin is tested for the first time as Colombia break quickly on the counter and it’s switched out to Diaz on the left. He pulls it back for Muriel on the edge of the box, but it’s a comfortable save for the goalkeeper.

43′ SAVE! Messi steps up to take the free-kick on the edge of the D and he curls his effort up and over the wall towards the far post. Ospina watches it all the way and he pushes it away from the goal.

42′ Argentina are on the attack again here and Messi lifts a wonderful ball over the top to Martinez. He brings it down with a good first touch before being tripped by Sanchez on the edge of the D.

Argentina

40′ Emiliano Martinez is carried off the field on a stretcher and it’s Marchesin that’s coming on in his place.

38′ Emiliano Martinez is still down here and the medical team aren’t taking any risks with him here. The referee signals for the stretcher to be brought on and the goalkeeper isn’t going to be carrying on.

36′ Emiliano Martinez hit his head on the ground when he fell after the collision with Mina and he’s stayed down. He’s getting treatment on it now, but the goalkeeper doesn’t look happy with whatever he’s being told by the medical staff.

Colombia

34′ Mina clatters into Emiliano Martinez when he tries to get on the end of Zapata’s header, but he doesn’t get to the ball and the keeper drops to the ground. He’s shown the first yellow card of the game.

32′ Already, it’s better from Colombia and they’re moving the ball upfield quicker than before. Tesillo switches play out to Uribe on the right, but Romero’s touch stops it from reaching him at the expense of a corner.

Colombia

30′ Colombia’s set-up clearly isn’t working so Rueda is making a change here. Muriel is coming on for Lerma, and the hosts are now set up how they were against Peru in the last game.

29′ Argentina are patiently trying to work the ball upfield and the home fans are making it clear that they aren’t happy with the lack of pressing from their side. Colombia sit back until Mina blocks Messi’s run into the box.

27′ GOOD SAVE! Lo Celso’s throughball is perfectly weighted for Lautaro Martinez down the right of the box and he lets it roll across him before taking a shot. Ospina parries it away, but only as far as Acuna on the other side, but he drills his low effort into the side netting.

25′ Argentina have scored two goals in the first 10 minutes of a qualifier for the first time since 2011, thanks to Romero’s and Paredes’ goals.

23′ Cuadrado is in quickly to nick it off Lo Celso and he drives forward down the right again. He drills a dangerous low cross into the middle looking for Zapata, but Romero is there to intercept it.

21′ Colombia’s pressure is winning them a lot of corners, but they haven’t taken advantage of them as Emiliano Martinez collects another one. He sets Acuna off on a counter down the left, but there’s no one at the other end to get on the end of his chipped cross.

19′ It’s better from Colombia now as they’re keeping hold of the ball, but they’re not really doing anything with it. Nobody is making any runs in behind, so the defenders are left to just knock it around between them for now.

17′ Another corner for Colombia and Cuadrado swings another cross into the middle of the box. Mina is right on top of the goalkeeper, but Emiliano Martinez stands his ground and holds onto it under pressure.

15′ Argentina are still dominating the ball here after Mina’s clearance is played straight into Lo Celso. The visitors are knocking it around in midfield and Colombia just can’t get a touch on it at the moment.

13′ SAVE! Cuadrado swings a deep corner into the box and he picks out Tesillo’s leap above Otamendi at the far post. He flicks his header on goal, but it’s a comfortable save for Emiliano Martinez.

12′ Lautaro Martinez has acres of space through the middle, enough time to turn, compose himself and start the attack for Argentina. Messi makes a run ahead of him but he overhits the pass and it loops up into Ospina’s gloves.

10′ Most of the Colombia players look slightly rattled after Argentina’s quick start to the game, but Cuadrado is trying to get them back into this. He drives forward down the right before trying to fizz the ball into the box, but it’s blocked by Acuna.

Argentina

8′ Lautaro Martinez’s first touch is poor, but it ends up looping up to Paredes. The forward then stays in his pocket of space to return the one-two to Paredes.

Argentina

8′ PAREDES SCORES! Messi’s sliced shot bounces up into the air and Colombia just don’t deal with it. It’s wonderful play from Paredes as he plays a one-two with Lautaro Martinez before skipping past two Colombia defenders, keeping his cool and slotting it past the onrushing Ospina and into the bottom corner. 2-0 Argentina!

7′ CLOSE! Messi switches play into Acuna on the left of the box and he’s unmarked, so decides to have a shot. He tries to curl it into the near post, but a big deflection off Mina takes it swerving just wide of the far top corner.

5′ Cuadrado’s cross hits Otamendi at the near post and he instantly tries to set Gonzalez on the counter. He manages to hold off three defenders before touching it into Lo Celso, but he can’t pick out Paredes.

Argentina

3′ De Paul swings a wonderful cross into the middle of the box from the free-kick to pick out Romero’s leap.

Argentina

3′ ARGENTINA LEAD! It’s a brilliant cross into the box from De Paul on the right and Romero times his run perfectly to stay onside. He thumps his header over Ospina from the middle of the box and gives Argentina an early lead. 1-0!

2′ Argentina have made a bright start to the game and are putting Colombia under some early pressure here. Gonzalez makes a driving run down the right and is tripped by Tesillo and they have a free-kick in a good position.

1′ Lautaro Martinez gets the game underway for Argentina!
