Kym Marsh shared she is facing fresh heartbreak.

The actress, 43, must wave goodbye to two of the biggest loves in her life; her character Michelle Connor has her final days on the cobbles in weeks to come and her army boyfriend Scott Ratcliff will be going away on tour again.

Kym admitted it was “always stressful” when her love has to go away with work because he is sent out to “dangerous places”.

They fell madly in love with each other when her Coronation Street co-star Antony Cotton set them up last year.

The mother expressed her anxiety when she “barely spoke a word” to her army beau for two long hard months while he was stationed out in Kenya where there was no phone signal.

She said to The Sun : “There is always anxiety, it is always stressful when he goes away. There may not be an actual war threat currently but there’s always a risk when you’re in these dangerous places.

“And it can be extra worrying when you aren’t able to communicate for periods of time… But it won’t be easy watching him go away, and I will worry until I see him again.”

However, Kym confessed saying goodbye to Coronation Street wasn’t all bad news. The soap star, who played Michelle for 14 years (pictured in character), celebrated she would be able to devote more time focusing on things she enjoys and seeing her family

But the actress insisted she had no plans on slowing down after her exit.

She added to the newspaper: “A bonus of leaving Coronation Street might be that I get to spend more time enjoying the other things in my life — the filming schedules can be very fast paced and you spend a lot of time there — but I’m not planning on slowing down, there are loads of new things that I want to do.”

In December, Kym will star in the tour of Elf: A Christmas Spectacular.
