Cristiano Ronaldo was said to have worn a new attitude over the weekend after being substituted in the 70th minute of Juventus’ 3-2 win over Inter Milan.

The 36-year-old made way for Spanish forward Alvaro Morata for the remaining part of the crucial meeting at the Allianz Stadium.

According to the Old Lady boss Andrea Pirlo, the five-time Ballon d’ Or winner was all smiles in the dressing room after the meeting.

The five-time Champions League winner opened the scoring for the Turin-based club through a rebound in the 24th minute after his earlier penalty kick was saved by Inter goalkeeper.

Romelu Lukaku leveled parity for the visitors via the spot but two superb goals from Juan Cuadrado sealed the crucial win for the hosts.

However, his angry reactions in the past whenever he was removed in a game made this very one a big deal. Pirlo told Sky Italia after the game as reported by SunSport, saying:

“I think it was the first time he was happy to be subbed off. We were one man down, and he’d have been chasing shadows. He was happy and smiling in the dressing room.”
