– In a recent post, he pleaded for forgiveness, stating he didn’t read the news about her death

Popular singer, Slimcase, has taken to social media to apologize to Nigerians after he received backlash for a comment he made about the death of Tina Ezekwe which many people considered as insensitive.

Recall earlier that Legit.ng reported how the singer in a response to a follower who accused him of focusing on the death of George Floyd in the US, he stated that the death of Tina was made for local TV stations to carry.

Following the backlash he received, the singer once again took to apologize to Nigerians. In a recent video shared, he pleaded for forgiveness from Nigerians. He wrote: “I am just knowing about the little girl cus I hardly check posts I am so so sorry I never meant it that way so sorry I apologize.”

In another post, he shared a photo of Tina and wrote: “Just seeing this #Justice for Tina All blacks lives matters so sad sorry once again so sorry Nigerians I’m so sorry about this , I just got to read the #tina story and I’m so sad right now , my comment earlier was a misinterpretation and I sincerely apologize . I’m a father to a beautiful girl , So I know how painful this must be for Tina Parent. Tina is for all of us. We want #Justice For Tina.”
