2023: Students’ support group for Tinubu constitutes executive committees

The National Advisory Council of the Asiwaju National Students Support Organisation, ANSSO, has constituted national, zonal, and state executive committees for the group.

According to the chairman of the advisory council, John Abbah, the group was formed by a body of patriotic Nigerian students, who cut across the federation, adding that they support Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, because posses the requirements of a modern Nigerian leader.

Vanguard reports that at the event, Comrade Giwa Murtala Moore was appointed to head the National Executive Committee as the national coordinator, while members and leaders were appointed for states and geopolitical zones in the country.

Some Nigerians have been commenting via social media on Tinubu’s ambition ahead of 2023.

Meanwhile, a former Senate spokesperson, Adedayo Adeyeye, has declared that Tinubu has what it takes to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

Adeyeye made the comment during an interview with a national newspaper, stressing that Tinubu would perform creditably well if he becomes Nigeria’s president after Buhari.

The Ekiti-born politician also emphasised that the north would give their full support to ensure Tinubu’s presidential ambition is achieved.

In a related development, the Yoruba Patriots Movement (YPM), a socio-cultural and political group, and a pan-Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, have insisted that the southwest should produce the next president.

The influential groups advised the leaders in the ruling APC to honour the pre-2015 general election agreement between its chieftains to ensure fairness and equity.
