bioreports reports that at the event, Comrade Giwa Murtala Moore was appointed to head the National Executive Committee as the national coordinator, while members and leaders were appointed for states and geopolitical zones in the country.

Some Nigerians have been commenting via social media on Tinubu’s ambition ahead of 2023.

Daniel Benjamin wrote:

“Tinubu should win the 2023 presidential election, that’s the end of the monster called PDP. Buhari’s style of politics has really cost APC a lot. Even Internal wrangling everywhere within the APC!”

Sir Tomi wrote:

“2023 is another opportunity for Tinubu to prove once again that he’s the best player of the game.”

Aminu Gada wrote:

“There is no credible alternative to him at the moment. One of his greatest achievement is raising many achievers through mentorship.”

Prince Olatunji idowu Osokoya wrote:

“Leadership is the capacity to translate the mission and vision into reality. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is ready to do that. He needs our support to make our dreams into reality. May Almighty God guide and bless this task.”

Meanwhile, a former Senate spokesperson, Adedayo Adeyeye, has declared that Tinubu has what it takes to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

Adeyeye made the comment during an interview with a national newspaper, stressing that Tinubu would perform creditably well if he becomes Nigeria’s president after Buhari.

The Ekiti-born politician also emphasised that the north would give their full support to ensure Tinubu’s presidential ambition is achieved.

In a related development, the Yoruba Patriots Movement (YPM), a socio-cultural and political group, and a pan-Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, have insisted that the southwest should produce the next president.

The influential groups advised the leaders in the ruling APC to honour the pre-2015 general election agreement between its chieftains to ensure fairness and equity.
