Manchester United have announced that their forward Mason Greenwood has signed a new four-year deal which will keep the Englishman at Old Trafford until 2025.
This latest development will come as a big one for all Manchester United fans considering how they have been waiting for the future of Greenwood to be sorted out.
Mason Greenwood started his career at Manchester United academy when he was seven and was closely monitored then by former coach Sir Alex Ferguson.
When he joined Manchester United academy, the English player was said to have convinced the coaching crew with his impressive attacking styles of football.
And since he graduated to Manchester United first team in 2018, Mason Greenwood has so far played 82 games for the Red Devils in all competitions.
The Englishman is also the Red Devils’ youngest ever goalscorer in European competition which is an incredible one.
No teenager has also scored more goals for United in a single campaign than Greenwood who scored 17 last season for the Old Trafford landlords.
According to the official statement by Manchester United, Mason Greenwood explained that he is happy to have signed a new contract with Manchester United.
”I’ve worked so hard to reach this level and the last two years have been amazing. There is so much that I want to achieve in the game and I know that this is the perfect environment to play my football.”

Earlier, Bioreports had reported how Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford admitted that he learnt a lot during Jose Mourinho’s spell as manager at the Old Trafford club.
The youngster found the back of the net 29 times in 125 appearances under the Portuguese tactician but says he learnt a valuable lesson.
Rashford won both the Europa League and the Carabao Cup under Mourinho, a feat he is yet to attain with successor Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
