Jose Mourinho appears to have started his notable mind-games ahead of the Chelsea vs Tottenham showdown slated for Sunday, November 29 at the Stamford Bridge.

Many are already tipping Mourinho to challenge for the title this season and now they travel to his former club for a tough Premier League fixture.

According to the Portuguese tactician, current Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is not feeling the same level of pressure he felt when he was in charge of the Blues.

Lampard guided Chelsea to a fourth place finish last season and he was applauded for such feat on his first season as their manager.

Chelsea team splashed over £250million on players this summer and there appears to be little expectation on Lampard to guide Chelsea to the Premier League crown this season.

With Spurs top of the league going into this weekend then Mourinho is again finding one of his teams to be the subject of title talk, but he says that isn’t fair.

“What I felt is that was when I was in these clubs (Chelsea and United), there was huge pressure on me and now there is not huge pressure on the coaches of these teams,” said Mourinho as cited in Mirror.

However, Lampard has responded to the speculation as he stated that he also feels the same pressure just like every other manager.

“We all have pressures as managers, not just myself and Jose but any manager, not just in the Premier League,” he said.

“Jose was here at Chelsea as a manager so he understands it very well. He also went to Manchester United and would have understood the pressures there very well when you spend a lot of money.”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that James Milner was substituted in the second half of the Liverpool vs Brighton game on Saturday afternoon, November 28 in a clash which ended 1-1.

The England midfielder held his hamstring in the 73rd minute of the tie as Reds boss Jurgen Klopp lamented the lunch-time kick off.

The situation forced the manager to replace the 34-year-old with Curtis Jones as Milner now joins the growing list of injured players at the Anfield outfit.
