Bashir El-Rufai, one of the sons of Kaduna state governor, Nasir, recently sparked a debate on social media after he shared photos of himself and his bride on Twitter.
In the snaps, the controversial son of the politician was seen holding his bride intimately on the low part of her waist as she in turn held him lovingly.
In another photo, Bashir was spotted giving his woman a loving kiss on the cheek as she held his face and smiled for the camera.
Bashir El-Rufai sparked reactions on social media after sharing photos with his bae.

To most regular Twitter users, the photos looked like ordinary ones from everyday couples. However, a number of Muslim and northern Twitter users saw the snaps in a different light.
While some of them commended the photos, many were quick to criticise them and tagged it inappropriate. A number of people in the comment section also called out those who appreciated the photos, saying that they had double standards because it was a member of the ruling class who shared the photos.

In announcing his forthcoming wedding to his fiancee, Halima Nwakaego Kazaure, Bashir released a pre-wedding photo of himself showing her off to the world.
