A young Nigerian man gladly renounced his Christian faith to go the traditional way.

The 29-year-old man who read electrical engineering at the university is a practising Ifa priest.

He told Legit.ng in a recent interview that the public perception of traditional practices is ill-informed and bias.

The devout traditionalist said the practice is actually for the advancement of human causes and well-being stressing that it is people who have limited it to a means of seeking fast fame, wealth or wishes.

The tech savvy man who uses an iPhone 11 revealed that his family had disowned him as a result of his traditional practice.

Olawole who was born into a Deeper Life family however opined that there re no regrets about his decision.

While speaking on his plans to ensure traditionalism is fused with modern tech, he reacted to the question of whether or not humans are used for sacrifices.

He said it is a taboo for a human being to be used for sacrifice.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a Nigerian traditionalist stated that he won’t put on any cloth until the day death comes.

The 47-years-old man stated that not putting on proper cloth is the self-sacrifice he makes as the guardian of the popular Idanre hills.

He added that he is also a kingmaker in the kingdom. The high chief said though he could put on shorts and trousers, it is a big taboo for him to put on top.

When asked why it was so, he revealed it’s because he is the guardian of a special abode called the “Olorin” and nobody enters the house fully apparelled.
