What do we love more than an instant skin boost? We’ll tell you – an instant skin boost that costs under a fiver! That’s exactly what we’ve found with Nivea Expert Lift Cellular Sculpting Sheet Mask, which has been a huge hit with our testers.

The mask is normally £4.99 but at the moment it’s half price at £2.49 here, so if you like the sound of it you might just want to stock up fast.

The mask is part of a new Nivea range based on bakuchiol, one of the most talked about ingredients in beauty. Dermatologists and skincare fans alike are praising bakuchiol for offering rejuvenating results comparable to retinol but without the potential for irritating sensitive faces.

The night cream from the Expert Lift range has already impressed our testers so we’re not surprised to hear its sister sheet mask is hitting the sweet spot too.

It only takes 10 minutes to use, but then you massage in the excess serum once you’re finished so the collagen-stimulating bakuchiol carries on doing its thing. You’ll also find hyaluronic acid in the formula, adding to the plumping effect that instantly smooths out the look of wrinkles.

One of our happy testers was Gail B, who told us: “It’s everything my skin needs and I’ve been admiring my face in the mirror all day! It’s fab. It actually works!”

She went on to explain why: “My skin felt really soft, definitely plumper, so much smoother and really hydrated. I actually feel like I’ve had some sort of expensive facial procedure. Overall my skin looks plumper so there are fewer lines. Finally an inexpensive product that stands up to the claims it makes. I absolutely love it.”

The mask is actually inspired by professional cryo-facials, and Nivea recommends chilling it first – a tip Gail swears by. “I loved the fact you can put it in the fridge so immediately when placed on your face it feels refreshing and hydrating before it even gets to work,” she said.

Her results are echoed by fellow tester Tracy C who told us: “Great affordable product which gave great results. My skin felt REALLY hydrated and radiant. My skin looked toned, firmer and tighter after using it.”

“The mask actually fitted well, had a good saturation of ingredients which left my skin glowing. People told me that I look radiant. It’s lovely for a little pampering day, my skin looked fab after using it.”

Naturally, the OK! beauty team has been quick to listen to the advice and we can vouch for the fact it really does give a lovely hydrating boost and immediate plumping effects. With party season approaching fast, we’ll be stockpiling this one.
