In a video made available to Legit.ng, Bishop Idahosa maintained that he did not mention the name of any pastor, neither did he criticize any member of the body of Christ regarding this matter.
The man of God added that a mischievous blogger who was not invited to cover the recent charity outreach of the church is responsible for the misleading story. He added that this blogger misquoted and misrepresented what he and his ministry stand for.

In his own words: “I never indicted any church or pastor whatsoever. We believe in the congregating of the assembly of one another; Jesus recommended that. And that is strictly what we believe and we look forward to our congregational assembly being opened as it were.
I never said anything negative to the body of Christ or regarding the body of Christ concerning tithing or offerings. I emphasized that if as it were, people have been clamoring about the opening of churches because of tithes and offerings.
How dare you now say pastors who want the churches to be re-opened will inflict the people with Coronavirus? If the churches are opened, the pastor’s too will be there. So I never said the pastors want the churches to open because of tithes and offering. I am in a hurry for the church to open, that is my life. ”
This is coming after Bishop Isaac Idahosa recently donated relief materials to his church members to survive during the COVID-19 lockdown.
