A Nigerian man identified as @misterbelut on Twitter recently left jaws hanging after he shared his experience at a hotel he recently lodged in on his trip to Ibadan.
Belut who revealed he paid N10,000 plus a Value Added Tax (VAT) of N650, was left speechless when the following morning, he was served a breakfast meal of porridge beans and boiled yam accompanied with a pack of sachet water.
Belut shared photos of the food he got served at the hotel.

Sharing the photos of the meal, he wrote:
“So I went to Ibadan yesterday and lodged in one hotel like that, I paid 10k and 650 for vat for the night, so this morning they brought me breakfast. I don die.”

Apparently, there were some people who doubted the story and for these group of people, Belut released photos of the hotel room he was given.

The post which has since gone viral with over 1,000 likes, had several people reacting with amusement.
While others thought it was a pretty fair breakfast considering the amount paid for the room, there were some who opined that the breakfast would keep him energied for the day.
