Helpful Prince George charms Waitrose delivery drivers by carrying the family’s shopping into William and Kate’s Norfolk home

One may feel the job of bringing in the shopping is below that of a future king.
But Prince George was comfortable taking over from Waitrose delivery drivers as they dropped off the goods at his home in Norfolk.
The five-year-old royal surprised workers when he walked up to the van with father William, 36, before helping unpack the items.

The pair have become popular with the upmarket supermarket’s staff for assisting at Anmer Hall on the Sandringham Estate, which was gifted to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge by the Queen
A source told the Sun: ‘It is rare for anyone to ever offers to carry deliveries inside.
‘So the Waitrose delivery staff were surprised and delighted to be greeted regularly by Prince William and Prince George.

A source said: ‘George is always particularly helpful and is the one who asks each time what he can carry for them. He is a very inquisitive child’ (stock)

They added: ‘They give him lighter bags. It shows how down-to-earth William is and that he wants his son to grow up being polite and helpful to others.’
Kate has been seen in Waitrose stores in the past, and has even taken the young princes there on public transport.
The family has also been seen on the beaches along North Norfolk’s rural coastline.
The Duchess of Cambridge, 37, hit the headlines at Christmas when a teacher spotted her in discount retailer The Range.
Teacher Sarah Daniels told how she popped in to the store on December 22, and was stunned to see Kate browsing in the aisles – with Princess Charlotte and Prince George in tow.
Mrs Daniels, 43, first saw the royal trio in the arts and craft section of the home, garden and leisure retailer, before they moved on to the toy section where George showed interest in ‘dinosaur slime’.
Kensington Palace have not commented on either of the matters.
