Helen Flanagan has been left unable to walk and worrying about performing her bridesmaid duties at her sister’s wedding after injuring herself.

The former Coronation Street star took to Instagram to reveal she’d burned her foot on a shisha pipe, showing the extent of her injuries.

The actress’ foot was wrapped in bandages and she was told not to walk after the unfortunate accident during her Dubai holiday.

Helen, who was on holiday with her fiancĂ© Scott Sinclair, said she had to get on a plane in just one hour’s time as she contemplated how she was going to perform her duties on her sister’s big day.

The 29-year-old said in a video: “I’ve got to catch a flight in one hour and to cut a long story short, I’ve burnt my foot on a shisha.

“Oh my god, I’m going to have to go on this plane in a bikini. I’m sobered up now, I’m eating a BLT sandwich, I’ve got to be a bridesmaid for my sister and my foot is like this.

“Apparently I can’t walk on it. I’ve got to pack. But what a fun night, it was really fun, I’ll just have to be a big girl about it.”

On the plane, Helen then held up her hands to show that her nails were ruined and asked for recommendations for good nail technicians.

And when Scott started poking fun at her burned foot, she rolled up the divider between the seats, joking it was her favourite part of the holiday.

Mum-of-two Helen has clearly been letting her hair down as she partied at the fancy Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort.
