Famous Grammy-winning electronic music duo, Daft Punk have announced their split after 28 years.
The helmet-wearing French duo, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, announced their break up in an eight-minute video, called Epilogue.
The duo had four chart-topping albums and six Grammy wins.
Kathryn Frazier, the band’s longtime publicist, also confirmed the split.
The breakup comes eight years after Daft Punk was formed in 1993 by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter.
The group released their last album Random Access Memories, featuring the track ‘Get Lucky’, which topped global charts worldwide.
