Gov. Abdulrazaq reacts to alleged attack on APC chairman


Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has reacted to the alleged attack on the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Bashiru Bolarinwa.

AbdulRazaq in a statement issued by Mr Rafiu Ajakaye, his Chief Press Secretary, on Thursday in Ilorin condemned the attack, describing it as disturbing.

He ordered security agencies to fish out those responsible for the attack and ensure they face the full weight of the law.

The Governor expressed anger over those heating up the state known for its peaceful atmosphere.

The statement read: “We condemn in the strongest terms possible the alleged attack on the state chairman of the APC, Hon. Bashiru Omolaja Bolarinwa, allegedly by some hoodlums in Moro Local Government Area.

“For the record, the state faces many developmental issues and the Governor has no time for anything that does not add value to the lives of the people he’s been elected to govern.”
