WASHINGTON—Republicans on the Senate Commerce Committee on Thursday scheduled an Oct. 1 vote to subpoena testimony from the CEOs of Facebook Inc., Twitter Inc. and Alphabet Inc.’s Google, in the latest GOP action against social-media giants.
