In what many Nigerians will welcome, Goodluck Jonathan, has identified some problems associated with the country.
According to the former president, restructuring alone can not solve the country’s problems and cannot be done in isolation.
He listed some of the country’s problems as:

Going further, he said the minds of Nigerians must be restructured because the problems existed at the state and local levels.

Meanwhile, Bioreports had reported that Jonathan maintained that it is too early in the day to start discussing the 2023 elections.
According to The Nation, the former president gives such a reply whenever he is asked if he has any plan to contest in the next presidential election.
The publication also reported that the growing rapport between Jonathan and some leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is causing anxiety in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Meanwhile, Bioreports had reported that Jonathan Vatsa, a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Niger state, has asked the federal government and Arewa youths to leave Bishop Mathew Kukah alone over his Christmas message.
The said that the fiery cleric’s Christmas message has continued to generate mixed reactions from Nigerians both at home and abroad.
Vasta, however, asked the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government to address the issues raised by Bishop Kukah in his message.
Bioreports had also reported that an elder statesman, Alhaji Tanko Yakassai, lent his voice to the growing agitation for an Igbo presidency in 2023.
