Former Egypt international Mido who played for Tottenham in the Premier League has urged the English FA to fire current boss Gareth Southgate and employ Spurs gaffer Jose Mourinho.
This comes after England suffered a defeat against Belgium in Nations League encounter which was played on Sunday, November 15.
The likes of Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling were unable to save England from a 2-0 defeat in the tough encounter against Belgium.
It was their second competitive loss for England in a row after they were beaten 1-0 by Denmark at Wembley last month which was a painful result.
Mido played under Gareth Southgate at Boro for two seasons and has expressed doubts over the possibility of his former boss to succeed with England.
“England needs a proper manager, they are wasting their time with Southgate.
“It’s true he always says the right things in the media and probably that’s why he kept his job for so long but believe me he is stuttering every time things goes wrong at halftime. Players feel his fear.
“England got some top talents in their side they need a manager with strong character someone who can get them to enjoy themselves and play with no fear..I’m sorry but Southgate is not the man to do that
“My advice to the FA go and get Mourinho as your head coach and appoint Southgate as the FA chairman they are both perfect for the job.”

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Chelsea who are Premier League giants have been dealt with a big blow after defender Ben Chilwell suffered an injury while playing for England against Belgium.
The 23-year-old featured for England in the Nations League encounter in which the Three-Lions suffered a 2-0 defeat on Sunday night, November 16.
Youri Tielemans scored the first goal for Belgium in the 10th minute after receiving brilliant assist from Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku.
Dries Mertens netted the second goal for Belgium in the 24th minute via a direct free-kick in which England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford was unable to save.
Three minutes after conceding the second goal, Harry Kane tried to pull one back for England, but his brilliant shot was well saved by Thibaut Courtois.
