Galatasaray continue negotiations with Roma for Steven Nzonzi on loan, although there are still discussions over the details.
According to Sky Sport Italia, La Gazzetta dello Sport and more, the idea is for Nzonzi to move on loan for the rest of the season.
It remains to be seen if Galatasaray will pay for the loan and share out his salary, or take him for free and cover the entirety of his wages for that year.
Roma only purchased the 30-year-old from Sevilla 12 months ago at a cost of €26.5m, but he did not impress in 39 competitive appearances, contributing one goal and two assists.
Nzonzi struggled to enter into new Coach Paulo Fonseca’s tactics in pre-season and is not considered part of his plans.
As the France international is under contract until June 2022, a loan in order to raise his price-tag back up is feasible.
