Franck Ribery has made his rapper friend Kof smile in the best of ways he can after providing a private jet to transport his mum from Algeria to France to unite them.

The French star is currently injured while playing for his club Fiorentina helped his friend repatriate his mum from Algiers to Marseille.

And Kof has been grateful for the gesture of the former Bayern Munich winger who made provision of the private plane to unite mother and son.

Kof could not hide his emotions as he took to his Instagram handle to pay tribute to the one-time Champions League winner.

“The family, the humble and generous people are often the most discreet.

“It is not my habit but I would like to thank my brother, my blood, @ franckribery7, for having organized the repatriation of my mother whom I love so much from Algiers to Marseille by providing her with a private plane.

“I wanted to do it publicly so that you know the golden man behind the great footballer … thank you again my brother.”

Ribery is currently recovering from an ankle problem and is set to return to action when the Serie A season return.

The 37-year-old made a summer switch from Bundesliga side Bayern after spending two long seasons at the Allianz Arena.

He has scored two goals in 11 for appearances so far for his new club before sustaining an ankle injury kept him out on the sidelines.
