Lewandowski guided Bayern to a 4-1 triumph over Lazio in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 in Italy – a win that puts them one leg into the quarterfinals as they look set to retain the title.
He has now become the joint third-highest goals scorer alongside Real Madrid legend Raul in the history of the championship, while Cristiano Ronaldo sits at the summit of the table with 132 goals followed by Lionel Messi who has 118 at the moment.
The second leg comes up on March 17 and the job looks almost done except if a dramatic comeback happens in Germany.
Lewy joined Bayern on July 1, 2014, and has gone ahead to win eight Bundesliga titles among several other silverware including one Champions League and four German Cup trophies.
In total, Robert has made 320 appearances for his club in all competitions scoring 278 goals and 65 assists so far in his seven-year reign at the club.
