Inter left-back Dalbert has two options on the table, as he could return to Nice or join Fiorentina in exchange for Cristiano Biraghi.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Brazilian will not remain at San Siro for this season, having left Nice for €21m plus bonuses in 2017.
He made only 12 competitive appearances in a Nerazzurri jersey, contributing one goal and one assist.
There has been talk of a Fiorentina move, which would bring Italy international Biraghi to Inter in exchange.
However, now Nice have reportedly approached for a reunion with Dalbert, and this return to Ligue 1 does seem more convincing to him.
Dalbert turns 26 next month and spent just one season at Nice, in 2016-17, providing four assists in 40 official games for the club.
